Sweets that are not so sweet
I always have some business ideas that I wonder why no one implements them. Maybe the market is too small, the implementation is too costly, or I'm the only human being in the world who would pay for it. Anyways, I think it is a good idea to share them in some short posts on this blog. If some business implements them, I would happily pay for the product/service.
Here is the first one.
Observation: The regular American dessert (especially donuts) is way too sweet for Chinese, or perhaps even most Asian people.
Solution: Sell the same sweets with much less sugar. Market them as healthy alternatives to normal dessert.
Cost: Adding less sugar may force them to add more real ingredients because sweetness is no longer the only taste :P
